This fascination for handloom led me to 'Raw Mango'. The label was started by Sanjay Garg (an Indian fashion designer), around five years back. They have beautiful handwoven pieces with vibrant colors and contemporary designs. I love the way they blend colors of different families and the way they compliment Indian's brown skin tone. Sanjay has a very technical approach behind all his designs. The silk he uses is not as hard as the Chennai silks, that gives fluffiness to your outfit. He knows what are the basic things Indians want in their clothes. The sparrow, mograh and mushru prints are brand's speciality. The famous T.V. hosts Mini Mathur and Mandira Bedi have been spotted in Raw Mango designs quite a lot. You can check out their public appearances in Raw Mango.
