Taika By Poonam Bhagat, for those who are new to this Indian brand, sells women's prêt-a-porter covering western, fusion as well as hard-core Indian wear. Their clothes are extremely subtle in nature and speak a language of simplicity. You will not find any sign of loudness in the entire collection. Elegance, is what the brand all about. And yes, I forgot to mention, Taika means magic in Finnish.

Their collection is available online at Indian Roots. They have a soft corner for quilted jackets and skirts. Applique is another one in the list. I love the monochrome tunic that Sonam Kapoor was spotted in. There are many versions of this tunic available online.
The brand, recently, launched their festive collection called "Vintage by Poonam Bhagat" - a nostalgic collection of embellished saris, anarkalis, tunics, shararas and lehengas, and now it is available at Aza, Altamount, Mumbai. So, people living in Mumbai or planning to visit Mumbai soon, can check out the stunning Indian wear.
"Vintage by Poonam Bhagat" is all about festivities, and hence the color pallet revolves around red, orange, yellow, gold. I like the tunics more than the saris in this collection. I, somehow, do not like their taste in saris. Although, the collection is very bright but they manage to stick to their basic nature of simplicity keeping it away from the extra dose of bling that any festive collection comes with.
I loved the first orange tunic from the collection 'Vintage By Poonam Bhagat'. Which one is your favorite among all?
